My recent stay at Berggasthof Karlbauer exceeded all my expectations, especially in terms of the personal touch and attention to detail. From the moment I arrived, owner Martin's warm welcome made me feel right at home as if I were a part of their family, setting a delightful tone for the entire visit. the traditional Austrian cuisine served at their own restaurant was not only delicious but showcased the authentic flavors of the region, truly a culinary delight. the cozy sitting area by the fireplace was a perfect spot to unwind after a day of exploring the picturesque surroundings, offering a tranquil ambiance that enveloped me in pure relaxation. the stunning terrace provided breathtaking views of the mountains, creating a serene atmosphere that was simply mesmerizing. It's a rare gem that I cannot recommend highly enough for anyone seeking an authentic Austrian experience amidst nature's embrace.
